How to start

  1. Pick a match

From the catalog, FACEIT, or your own .dem file.

  2. Open a round

Kills, the bomb plant, and grenades are marked on the timeline.

  3. Spot your opponent's habits

Multi-round overlays several rounds on one map, so you can see how the opponent moves again and again.

What's in the player

Players on the map

See every player's position at any moment of the round.

Utility

Who threw it, from where, where it landed, and how long the effect lasted.

The same moment in 3D

The 3D button shows the round in the map's real geometry: where a player's looking, how a grenade flies and where it lands, teammate silhouettes through walls. The lineup opens three seconds before the throw, so you can see where they aimed. All maps in the active pool. Free: two matches in 3D a month, no limit on Solo and up.

Marks on moments

The coach leaves notes on key moments, and the player opens them when it suits them. A mark can be for one player or for the whole roster. On the Team and Org plans.

Who it's for

For players

Rewatch your own play: where you stood, where the enemy came from, why the grenade didn't work. Your FACEIT matches are already in the catalog, and you can upload your own .dem file.

For coaches and analysts

Review matches with your roster: a shared room, marks on moments, assignments with Telegram reminders, round search, and the team playbook.

For anyone learning lineups

See where pros throw from and how. Save a lineup and repeat it on your own server: the setpos command copies with one button.

For pro scene fans

New HLTV matches appear in the catalog on their own. From above you see all ten players, not just the ones the broadcast shows.

Rooms, marks, and comms are on the Team and Org plans. The first 10 days are free. Pricing

Frequently asked questions

How do I watch a CS2 demo online?

Open the catalog and pick a match: the demo plays right in your browser, with no file download and no game launch. You don't need to sign in. Your own .dem files open on Solo, and one of your own FACEIT matches a week is free.

What is a 2D replay?

It's a demo shown on a top-down map: you see every player at once, where they're looking, smokes, mollies, and flashes, with kills and C4 plants marked on the timeline. That makes a whole round easier to read, and any moment opens in first-person 3D.

Where do the pro match demos come from?

From HLTV: the catalog fills up on its own as HLTV publishes match demos. You can filter them by team, event, and map.

How much does it cost?

You can start free: 10 pro matches a month from the catalog and 2 matches a month in 3D. From Solo up there are no limits. Paid plans start at 20 BYN a month and add lineups, your own demos, and team features, and you can try Team and Org free for 10 days.

Can I review a demo with my team?

Yes. "Link to this moment" opens the same round and second for your teammate. Team and Org add synced rooms: everyone sees the same moment and the same pause, and drawings on the map are visible to all. The coach can also leave marks on key moments, and you can play TeamSpeak comms over the demo.

Do I need to install anything?

No, everything runs in the browser. The one exception is comms recording: one person on the team installs the TeamSpeak 3 plugin.

Is Vantag affiliated with Valve, HLTV, or FACEIT?

No, Vantag is an independent service. Pro match demos come from publicly available recordings on HLTV, and FACEIT matches from the link you share.
