How to use Vantag
A guide through the plan tiers: what each one adds, and how to try it.
Free: Watch matches on the map
Free. All you need is an account.
- Match on the map: positions, grenades, heatmap, frame screenshot
- 3D scene: 2 matches a month; reopening the same match doesn't count
- Pro match catalog: 10 matches a month, at most one per hour, and 3 team follows
- Your own FACEIT match: one a week via a link, with a summary: the main mistake of the match
- Round switching: up to 12 times an hour in an open match
- Tactics library: 25 saved rounds, no folders
- Match storage: 2 days after you last open it
Match on the map
Any pro match from the catalog opens right in the browser, no downloading the demo or launching the game.
- Sign in with Steam, Google, FACEIT, or email
- Open "Matches" and pick a match
- Pick a round from the strip under the map and hit play
- Click "Save frame" to download a picture of the moment
3D scene
The same moment in the map's real geometry: where a player's looking, how the grenade flies, teammate silhouettes through walls.
- In the player, click "3D"
- Pick a camera: first-person, over the shoulder, or free
- To look at a specific throw, open it in 3D from the player's lineup list
Tactics
Save the rounds you'll want to come back to: your own finds and other teams' executes.
- In the player, click "Save tactic"
- Go back to the catalog with "Back" and open "Tactics" in the header
- "Open round" takes you back to that round in the player
Solo: Analyze your own matches
For a single player: a personal demo library, plus unlimited 3D and catalog.
- Your demos and FACEIT: upload .dem files and import matches by link
- 3D scene, no limit: in any match
- Unlimited catalog: pro matches and team follows
- Tactics with folders: no cap on saved rounds
- Player summary: every mistake of the match compared with pros, plus “Watch in game”
- Your own lineup library: a throw with its arc and setpos/setang, kept even without the demo
- Match storage: 30 days after you last open it
- Clips without a watermark: record a moment right in the browser
Your demos and FACEIT
Analyze your own games, not just pro matches.
- Open "Matches" → the "My demos" tab → "Upload your demo"
- For FACEIT, open the "FACEIT" tab and paste the room link
- Wait for processing and click "Open"
Clips
Record a moment from the map or in 3D and send it to a teammate. No screen recorder needed.
- Jump to the start of the moment
- Click "Record clip" and playback starts on its own
- Click "Stop clip" and the file saves to your computer
Lineup library
Spotted a lineup that works in a match? Save it and drill it on your own server.
- Double-click a player's tile in the team column and their lineups for that round show up underneath
- Click the throw: the player jumps to it and shows the arc
- Click the save button and the lineup lands in "Lineups"
- Copy the setpos command and paste it into the CS2 console on your server
Team: Review the match with the whole team
One subscription for a roster of up to 7. You can start with a 10-day free trial.
- A room for 10 people: shared pause, one round, drawings on the map for everyone
- Marks on moments: for one player or the whole roster
- Comms from TeamSpeak: a separate track for each player, in sync with the demo
- A roster of up to 7: coach, captain, analyst, and player roles
- Review calendar: reminders in Telegram
- Shared tactics library: matches are kept for 90 days
- Round search across the library: team, side, buy, site, opening duel, clutches, AWP
- Multi-round: dozens of rounds on one map with a shared timeline
- Playbook: the team's map strats, built from its matches
- Playlists: subfolders for rounds from search
Live review
A room for 10 people: everyone's on the same demo and the same moment. When the host pauses, it pauses for everyone.
- Open a match and click "Create room"
- Copy the invite link and send it to your roster
- Leader mode turns on by itself, so no one else can jump around the timeline
- Pause and draw right on the map
Async review
The coach reviews the match solo and leaves notes on the moments that matter. Players open them whenever it's convenient.
- Coach or analyst: jump to the moment and click "Mark"
- Write the note and choose who it's for
- Player: open the match. New marks are waiting in the "Review" menu
- Clicking a mark jumps to that exact moment
Comms from TeamSpeak
Your team's TeamSpeak comms line up with the demo: each player on a separate track, synced to the rounds.
- One-time setup: download the plugin and link it to your account with a code from TeamSpeak
- One-time setup: set a TeamSpeak hotkey for the marker. Demos don't carry real time, so the marker is the only way to show where the match starts in the recording
- Before the match, pick "Vantag: начать запись голоса" (Start voice recording) in TeamSpeak
- As soon as the first round's freeze time starts, hit the hotkey. Comms will line up from that marker automatically
- After the match, stop the recording, open the demo → "Comms" → pick the recording
Roster and calendar
One subscription for everyone: up to 7 people, no separate payments.
- Open "Team" → "Create link" (or "Copy" if the link already exists) and send it to your players; inviting by SteamID64 lets you set a role up front
- Assign roles. The "Who can do what" table shows the permissions
- In "Reviews", click "Schedule"
- Everyone links Telegram in Settings, and reminders land there
Round search
Search rounds across the team's whole match library and watch them together on one map with a shared timeline.
- Open "Rounds" in the top menu
- Set your filters and run the search
- Pick rounds and open them in multi-round view, or save them to a playlist
Org: Run your organization
For clubs with a main roster, an academy, and staff.
- Multiple rosters: main roster, academy, stand-ins in one workspace
- No limit on people: players, coaches, analysts
- Manager role: schedule and roster without access to tactics
- Access log: who opened the team's prep, and when

- Match storage: 180 days

Frequently asked questions
Which plan should I start with?
Start with Free: the map, 3D, and the catalog are available right after you sign in. You can skip steps in the guide: each plan includes everything from the ones before it, so you can go straight to Team.
How does the free trial work?
Team and Org can start with a 10-day free trial, once per account and per card. To verify the card, the bank places a temporary 1 BYN hold, and the charge for your chosen term goes through 10 days later. You can cancel before the charge on the pricing page or in settings. Access stays until the trial ends.
Does the subscription renew automatically?
It's up to you. You can turn on auto-renewal for the same term at checkout: on the last day of the term we'll charge the current plan price and remind you beforehand. Without it, the account drops back to Free when the term ends. You can turn off auto-renewal any time in Settings with one button.
Do I need to install anything?
No, everything runs in the browser. The one exception is comms recording: one person on the team installs the TeamSpeak 3 plugin.
Which demos work?
CS2 demos: pro matches from the catalog, FACEIT matches by link, and your own .dem files up to 800 MB. Your own demos and FACEIT open up starting on Solo.
